BUNINAY

While you're reading this, I'm probably finalizing my luggage, boarding the plane, already there, or still at home reminiscing. I've enumerated these things not to remind myself of the things that I will be missing but to give myself something to look forward to when I get back. Please note that there's no particular order for this list, I'm writing whatever comes into my mind. Ilang araw na lang ang nalalabi at pansamantagal na'kong mawawalay sa'king bayang sinilangan. Hindi ako sanay sa ganitong sitwasyon. Ako ang tipo ng taong mas gustong umungkot sa sofa maghapon habang nanonood ng tv at tuluyang makatulog, o magkulong sa kwarto at lumayo sa mundo kasama ang isang bagong libro. Magala din naman ako pero pag lumalabas, malamang na ang kasama ko ay mga barkada, pinsan, kaopisina, pamilya at kung minsan ay mag-isa. Hindi rin ako mahilig lumabas ng probinsya, kung sakali man, ay isang madibdibang pamamaalam ang magaganap sa pagitan ko at ng aking mga magulang. Sa madaling salita, hindi ako sanay lumayo. Sa puntong ito, hindi ko alam kung ano ba ang mga dapat kong maramdaman. Wala nang isang linggo at ako'y tuluyang lilipad na patungo sa bayang napakaiba at malayo sa Pinas. What is FATE ?  Ardictionary  defines it as: The element of chance in the affairs of life; the unforeseen and unestimated conitions considered as a force shaping events; fortune; esp., opposing circumstances against which it is useless to struggle. What is FAITH ? From thefreedictionary , I've read that faith is a confident belief in the truth, value or trustworthiness of a person, idea, or thing. So, what are fate and faith for me? I have no particular connotation nor definition for these two, but I strongly believe in the reality of these mighty words. -oOo- This day last year, I was at a bookstore. I was probably sort of losing my senses that time because I was at my lowest. But then, through browsing some books, I'd read a few lines from one that made me really have faith in something and someone.
