Give me a century before saying "I love you"

Let me get this straight. When you feel something, you express it, right? You get pissed, you yell. You feel grateful, you give thanks. You feel down, you cry. You achieve a goal, you celebrate. But why in the world, do we limit our expressions when it comes to love? Just three words, with letters even less in numbers than your fingers. Just a second to declare and around three or five to write. Would you agree that it takes way longer for most people to think how, why, or should they really tell someone those tiny little words (well, mostly for the first time) than actually blurt them out? For a guy who's serious with a girl, roughly a week or two. For the girl who likes that guy in return, give her a couple of weeks to a month. For old married couples who are not mushy, give them a month for they'd just probably say it during month anniversaries. For a guy who wants to get back with his ex, maybe three weeks would be long enough. But with that, I'm actually not sure,

This is me pursuing happiness. :) Hope I'm making the right decision, been praying for this for long. Hahay!

11 Random Thoughts and Facts about 11.11.11

November 11, 2011 - A date (I'm dang sure) everybody is so talking about. So as to have my own share of this seasonal topic, I've listed 11 random thoughts and facts about this date. 1.  (Behold! This might sound like one of those petty chain messages you receive from your not-so-close friends who text you only whenever they think they'd get whatever wish they have once they followed the chain message rules.)        November 11, 2011 = 11.11.11. A date with this format happens only every century. So obviously, the last time people were able to write a date like this was way back 1911 and will be written again after a hundred years, 2111.  (Consider yourselves lucky for this is a rare happening. Write your 11 wishes in the comment section then share this post to 11 of your friends' Facebook walls to make your wishes come true. Do not break the chain for 11 unhappy things might happen to 11 of your neighbors' pets! ) 2. At this date, 11.11.11 will happen thrice

Some relationships last while some don't. But not every lasting relationship goes on smoothly. Most couples (in fact, all) go through a lot: the best of the bests and the worst of all worsts. OK, I am definitely not giving some expert love advise because I, for a fact, am not an expert nor a love guru. Yes, we give advises to friends and family and we can give the most of it for love problems. But think it over, guys, no one can solve those issues but ourselves, right? Through struggling, contemplating and composing ourselves, we learn and mature. But getting over being heartbroken is not an overnight nor a couple-of-weeks thing. It's a continuous process that we go through for long. For sure, you've heard of DABDA , right? Denial, Anger, Bargaining, Depression, Acceptance. Indeed, these are the stages that we go through, maybe not just once, not even in that particular order but the bottom line is still acceptance . Without having this as the last stage, we definitely ca

2-days of lingering on happiness 11.05-06.11

Everything has it's ups and downs, a roller coaster ride as they say. Indeed, life is one. Sure, everyone gets his own twists and turns and most of the time, we're not faced with just a loop or two. It's like life is one amusement park with no schedules, no height limit, no ticket and NO BAILING OUT. With this introduction, you might think I'm gonna to talk about the sh*ts of life. No. This time, let's not. Inevitable as they are, problems are always, ALWAYS a part (sometimes a big part) of this life. But hey, without them, we won't be able to actually realize the goodness of life, right? After everything I have been and am still being through, I'd like to linger on the happy parts of my life. You know, you have this happiness if you've already forgotten the worst of all worsts from the past and you're now thanking God for your prayers have already been answered. Happiness is a state of mind. Yes, our minds collect thoughts which runs through ev

The female species, particularly of the human kind, are the most beautiful of all creatures. Not because I belong to their kingdom, but because even if I were born male, I would even more see such fact and probably state the same. Strong yet tender, powerful yet submissive, popular yet rare. They say, "Behind every successful man is a woman." True. But may I just also say this: "Behind every woman's teardrop is a f*cking @$$#0|3!!!" Of course, we cannot generalize such statement. One point could be that women, in general, seem to have mood-swings or in a PMS period for most of the time. Not that we have bipolar syndrome or anything, but women have these emotional needs that they (ok, we) cannot directly ask from you, MEN. Women want things from men but won't say what. Instead, they tell the opposite or when asked, won't utter any decent reply. Yes, that's another reason why they say women drive men crazy (aside from the physical and inner beau

November 1. People, TV and radio shows, movies. Name it, they all talk about Halloween. And all seem to be scared of ghosts, monsters, or zombies that we all don't know if they truly exist. Here in the Middle East, I am not very sure, but I think they're not into scary spirits or any Halloween-ish creatures. Maybe the people here don't believe in such and it's one great advantage for me since I get all scared easily. If I'm in Japan during this season, I might have already imagined all the Japanese horror movie scenes to happen! Hehe! But remember the old-saying, "Matakot ka na sa buhay, huwag lang sa patay" ? I am, indeed, a believer! Just today, around lunchtime, the doorbell rang so I grabbed the front door key and went to answer it. Of course, I had to look through the peephole first to check. A big, scary man was standing right in front of the door. I, suddenly got scared and called a housemate. She came and checked who's at the door (through

30-day November Project

Halloween, indeed. My blog site is very much in season, filled with cobwebs and dust but no recent post. I'm not busy, not even uninspired. A lot of things happened to me here already, happy things. I've got so much to share but decided to not share them..yet. But if I continue what I've decided on, this site might drown in more cobwebs and might even be forgotten its existence (not that many really look up for this site and read all my posts hehe!). On that note, I've decided to create a 30-day project. This one's more like of a personal motivator for me to be more inspired and to look for a lot more things. I'm open to critics so feel free to post your comments on each of my posts, but no SPAM please. Already have something for my Day 1, in time for Halloween (at least, I think it is.) Later! ;)
